The Samsung Galaxy M51 was launched in Germany on 31st August 2020. But it’s going to but take some longer to launch in other different parts of the world. In India, Samsung Galaxy M51 is predicted to urge launched on 10th September 2020.
The Samsung M series devices have been one of the best mid-range to premium devices in the past couple of years. This M series has played an incredible role in bringing Samsung’s overall numbers on the top.
The key highlight of Samsung Galaxy M51 is the big AMOLED display, the massive 7000 mAh battery, 64MP quad rear camera, 32MP selfie camera, and Snapdragon 730 processor. These are the excellent combo.

Samsung Galaxy M51 Review
Over the years, the Samsung M series has followed the same design of different colours, including a couple of gradient finishes in the back and a polycarbonate body. Similar to Samsung Galaxy M31 the Galaxy M51 features a classic design.
The Samsung Galaxy M5’s glossy back is available in two colour options: White and Black. The Galaxy M51 houses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and the frames are plastic too.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 has 6.67 inches Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-O panel. There is a centred punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It has 19:5:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2340 pixels resolution.
This device is embedded with a 60Hz refresh rate. The 60Hz refresh rate is not so impressive. Further, we would like to see the mid-range segment of Samsung to come with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The display of this device is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 has a quad-camera setup on the back, and on the front, there is a single selfie camera.
The quad-camera on the back is a 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front, there is a tiny punch-hole cutout in the top centre of the display, which houses a 32MP selfie camera.
An issue with the M series is its performance. Samsung was going for outdated/under-powered chipsets from Qualcomm or was opting for its own Exynos SoC. They resulted in slow performance that affected the user experience.
Although the phone is launched in Germany, there is still no clarity about the chipset for the other country. Samsung Galaxy M51 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730. It is the faster M-series yet. We expect the launch of Galaxy M51 with a similar processor in other countries too.
This chipset is also found on popular midrange smartphones like Poco X2 and Galaxy A72.
Battery life is always the plus point of the M series. The Galaxy M52 is embedded with the huge 7000 mAh battery. The device also has 25W fast charging technology. There is a Type-C interface for charging in this device.
Memory and Storage
In Germany, the Samsung Galaxy M51 is available in only one variant: 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. There is a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage in the device.
We expect the device to come with 8GB RAM on other countries.
Price of Samsung Galaxy M51 (Expected)
|Samsung Galaxy M51 (6GB RAM + 128GB ROM)||रू 50,000||₹ 31,300||$428.28||€ 360|
The price range of this device is almost similar to the OnePlus Nord. Everything on the Galaxy M51 is good, except the processor need to be improved. The fast charging of the device is also very low if you compare it with its massive 7000 mAh battery.
