MI 10 was officially launched on 18th May 2020. In Nepal, due to chaos caused by COVID-19, Xiaomi held an online event to launch MI 10 on 30th May 2020. This was the first smartphone in Nepal with a 108MP camera, Snapdragon 865 processor, and 5G connectivity.

In Nepal and India, it’s price is expensive than as compared to the official price in China. It’s obvious because the importing cost is also added over there. The 18% GST system in India is also a cause that increased the price of this phone in India.

MI 10 has 4 rear cameras and one front camera.

Rear Camera

The first rear camera is 2MP Depth Sensor. The second rear camera is the most special feature of this phone: 108MP Primary Sensor. The third rear camera is a 2MP macro lens. And the fourth rear camera, which is placed separately from first-three cameras is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

The camera of this phone themes “Capture the Unseen Everyday” because this phone introduces the highest resolution camera on smartphone ever. With the 108MP sensor, we can capture the unseen in every scene and we can get more control over each image with the RAW mode built into the camera app.

This phone has a +25% improved performance compared to the previous generation and has -25% energy consumption compared to the previous generation.

The 5th generation AI Engine used in this phone is 100% improvement over the previous generation.

Memory and Storage

This phone has two variants: 8GB RAM /128GB ROM and 8GB RAM/256GB ROM. The available RAM and storage may be less than the total memory due to pre-installed software in the device and also due to the storage of the operating system.

The phone has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.0 Storage.


This phone has a 4780 mAh built-in rechargeable battery that uses USB Type-C Charging Port.

It has a 30W wired charger in-box and 30W wireless charging feature. The wireless reverse charging can be done up to 10W.


The size of this phone is 16.94 cm with a 3D Curved E3 AMOLED display. The screen size is 1080 × 2340 FHD+. The colors, viewing angles, contrast, the brightness of it, all these things do justice to the price of this phone. It has a 90Hz refresh rate.


This phone has curves on both front and back. The phone is a little heavy but good because the design looks premium and feels really good on the hands.
